Biography

Philip Hecht is a dual-qualified and highly experienced Real Estate and Construction lawyer with over 19 years’ experience. His practice includes high-profile real estate, construction and projects mandates across a broad range of sectors.

Immediately prior to joining BCLP, Philip was in-house at Miral, an Abu Dhabi Government-owned entity, where he spent over 9 years. At Miral, Philip advised on some of the largest and most unique leisure, hospitality and tourism projects in the world.

He has also spent 9 years with one of the world’s largest law firms, regularly advising on major infrastructure, construction and real estate mandates.

Philip was recently included in the Legal 500’s GC Powerlist for the Middle East and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Having advised on over $35bn of completed and operational assets, he brings a wealth of knowledge across the built environment and a seasoned understanding of client’s needs.
