Raphael A. Briones is an experienced product liability and commercial litigator. He defends manufacturers, designers, distributors, suppliers, and retailers in complex multi-jurisdictional litigation. Raphael has a keen ability to understand the needs and interests of his clients in order to develop and implement strategic and sound litigation strategies that balance his clients’ legal and business interests during litigation. He currently serves as member of a team of aggressive and experienced litigators that serve as national coordinating counsel for manufacturers, designers, and retailers. Raphael also has experience in complex commercial and business disputes.

Raphael also utilizes his background and experience in corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and securities matters to assist in the development and strategy of his commercial and general civil litigation work. His broad practice experience also includes motion and appellate experience, real estate disputes, construction litigation, insurance subrogation, and other commercial disputes in both federal and state courts.

Raphael is passionate about uplifting under-served communities and brings an enthusiasm to lead while emphasizing ideals of mentorship, education, and collaboration. In his wider community, Raphael has served as a volunteer at the LGBT Bar Association of New York Legal Clinic.

Prior to joining BCLP, Raphael was an attorney at an AMLaw 100 firm.
