Biography

Sam Eversman has offered clients a Saudi Arabian commercial advisory practice for more than three decades. He assists Saudi, non-Saudi and joint companies to establish and operate their businesses in Saudi Arabia. He often assists clients throughout their Saudi business cycles – from partner identification, due diligence and engagement of Saudi agents and distributors to obtaining corporate licensing and commercial registration for their Saudi subsidiaries, branches and joint ventures and compliance with Saudi labor, immigration, “Saudization” and income, withholding, VAT and other Saudi taxes.

Sam has lived and practiced in Turkey, Kuwait and the UAE in addition to Saudi Arabia. He advises businesses looking to explore, structure, establish and conduct operations in the private, public or government-procurement sectors in Saudi Arabia and throughout the Middle East. Sam’s clients operate in a variety of sectors ranging from energy and power, defense, engineering and architecture to consumer goods, software licensing and franchising.

A frequent author on topics related to international business, Sam is also a regular speaker on Saudi and Middle East-related law topics including doing business in Saudi Arabia and anti-bribery regulations.

He is a certified public accountant (CPA).
