Sejla Mustafic is an associate in the firm’s real estate practice group, where she focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and asset management. Her clients include investment management firms, developers, tech companies, among others. Sejla also advises utility companies in connection with clean energy transactions and supports corporate, logistics, and industrial clients in real estate matters, including site acquisitions and dispositions.

Before joining the firm full time, Sejla was a summer associate in both 2022 and 2023. She graduated summa cum laude from St. Louis University School of Law and was inducted into the Order of the Woolsack for her academic successes. During law school, Sejla spent a semester abroad studying international business law at the Université Paris Dauphine-PSL in Paris, France. Upon Sejla’s return from Paris, she joined the Human Rights at Home Litigation Clinic at St. Louis University School of Law, where she assisted with civil rights litigation and submissions to the United Nations Human Rights Council’s Special Procedures.

Prior to law school, Sejla worked as a litigation paralegal for various boutique law firms in the greater St. Louis area. At the same time, Sejla received her M.A. and B.S. in Public Policy Administration from the University of Missouri—St. Louis, graduating magna cum laude. 

Sejla is fluent in Bosnian ("Serbo-Croatian").
