Spencer Denison serves as Of Counsel in the firm's Denver office. His practice emphasis is in general commercial litigation, concentrating in the natural resources area and in the areas of contractual disputes, business torts, and unfair competition. A significant portion of his practice has involved a wide range of oil and gas matters, most recently disputes concerning royalty issues, and coal contract litigation. He had substantial experience in the litigation of real estate matters, the representation of property owners and developers in eminent domain or condemnation matters, construction disputes, and the litigation of probate and trust matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Denison was associated with the Legal Services Corporation in Washington, D.C., and served as law clerk to the Honorable Fred M. Winner, U.S. District Court Judge, Denver, Colorado.
