Biography
Stephanie Stein focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, financings, leasing and joint ventures. Her practice spans a broad range of asset classes, including commercial, industrial, multifamily, retail, office, hotel, mixed-use and senior living.
With a diverse background representing buyers, sellers, and limited and general partners, Stephanie brings a unique vantage point as she negotiates and guides her clients through various transactions. Her experience includes large portfolio deals, intricate corporate matters and structuring programmatic joint ventures. Stephanie also represents landlords and tenants on their leases nationwide.
During law school, Stephanie was an articles and comments editor for the Inter-American Law Review.

- Represented a leading financial services firm in the $206 million acquisition and $123.3 million financing of a multifamily property in Miami, Florida.
- Represented a leading financial services firm in the $130.6 million acquisition and financing of a multifamily property in Mount Vernon, New York.
- Represented Stockbridge Capital Group in the $84.8 million sale of Mira Mesa East Shopping Center in San Diego, California to CenterCal Properties.
- Represented Cantor Fitzgerald in connection with acquisitions, dispositions and financing of multifamily properties totaling in excess of $700 million.*
- Represented Smith Hill Capital in connection with a $250 million joint venture and $220 million credit facility for an opportunistic multifamily debt platform.*
- Represented Smith Hill Capital in a $400 million joint venture for an opportunistic hospitality debt platform.*
- Represented Andrew Mathias and EdgePark Management in connection with the $30 million acquisition and financing of a building in Times Square from SL Green.*
