Biography

Steven Bassett is an associate on the in the firm’s Energy, Environment, and Infrastructure group. His practice focuses on energy and infrastructure transactions and he has experience advising clients on complex financings and public‑private partnerships across the energy, institutional, and healthcare sectors. He counsels developers, investors, and public entities on structuring and negotiating large‑scale projects, including Energy‑as‑a‑Service arrangements and concession‑based infrastructure models.

Steven’s work includes drafting and negotiating energy services agreements, design‑build contracts and related project documentation to align commercial terms with client objectives. He has managed transaction workflows for major infrastructure projects, coordinating among multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely closings and regulatory compliance. His background also includes extensive experience with secured financings, credit facilities, and collateral documentation for both borrower‑ and lender‑side clients.
