Biography
An associate in BCLP’s Business and Commercial Disputes Practice Group, Zach works closely with partners to defend clients in high‑stakes litigation involving catastrophic‑injury matters, commercial contract disputes, and complex business conflicts. His experience includes supporting internal investigations focused on tax, reporting, and internal‑control issues, as well as contributing to the defense of a global agricultural company in multiple serious‑incident matters across several jurisdictions.
He is also part of a team representing a national healthcare company in antitrust and breach‑of‑contract litigation involving hundreds of millions of dollars in dispute. Beyond his litigation work, Zach assists clients with commercial‑contract matters and M&A‑related investor and shareholder issues.
Additionally, Zach advises employers on daily workplace issues and defends them in employment litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims in state and federal courts. He also has experience enforcing non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, successfully obtaining temporary restraining orders and injunctions against employees who violated those agreements, as well as against businesses that aided them.
Zach earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado–Boulder, where he served as resource editor for the University of Colorado Law Review. During law school, he also externed for Chief Magistrate Judge Michael Hegarty of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. He holds a B.A. from William Jewell College.
