Abbey Raish, a partner in BCLP's Corporate Transactions practice, discussed with Private Funds CFO how private fund managers are increasingly required to balance a complex web of limited partner expectations, public commitments, and emerging regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions, which can create overlapping or conflicting compliance obligations.

“From a compliance perspective you want to ask questions like, What have you formally committed to? What have you communicated to your investors?" Abbey told Private Funds CFO. "What have you communicated publicly to the outside world? And then, what are you actually executing inside the firm every day?”
