BCLP acts for Tristan Capital Partners on £400m student accommodation portfolio acquisition and joint venture

Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP (BCLP) has acted for Tristan Capital Partners’ core-plus fund, Curzon Property Partners Long-Life fund (CCP 5 LL), on its acquisition and joint venture of six UK-based, purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) assets in the UK. The six assets are located in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester (Salford), Swansea, and Leicester, comprising 2,753 beds. Bricks Group’s asset management team will be retained to oversee the portfolio, while its true Student platform will continue managing the developments.

The joint venture is actively assessing further opportunities in the sector with an ambition to grow the portfolio to £750 million over the next five years.
