BCLP advises Tenergie on major acquisition, financing, and refinancing

BCLP advised Tenergie, a French renewable energy developer and producer, on the acquisition, financing and refinancing of a portfolio of more than 350 photovoltaic assets in France (TENFI 6). 

This portfolio includes operating assets, recently commissioned projects as well as projects currently under development or construction. It covers a range of installations, including ground-mounted solar plants (12 MWp), self-consumption projects (8 MWp), rooftop solar installations, photovoltaic greenhouses, and solar carports. With nearly 140 MW financed, TENFI 6 represents one of Tenergie’s largest transactions to date. 

The financing, provided by Bpifrance, CATE (Crédit Agricole Transitions & Énergies) and La Banque Postale, exceeds €150 million. It will support both the refinancing of existing assets and the development of new solar projects. 

The BCLP team was led by Partner David Blondel, together with Senior Associate Gwenaël Fassot, and Associate Fabien Lambert, on the project finance aspects of the transaction.
