BCLP advised the banking pool led by Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC and Bpifrance, Arkolia’s long-standing financial partners, in the financing of a new 350 MWp solar portfolio, with a total value exceeding €300 million.

Arkolia is a fully integrated energy company and one of France’s leading multi-energy players. Active in the fields of solar, wind, and green gas, Arkolia operates two main business lines: the construction of renewable energy production units (for its account or on behalf of third parties), and the sale of renewable electricity generated from its production sites.

Partners since 2012, Arkolia and Banque des Territoires aim to reach a total capacity of 350 MWp across the country.

Comprising over 1,100 agricultural rooftops and ground-mounted solar plants throughout France, this program will support both the energy and agricultural transitions by producing local, sovereign, and decarbonized energy.

The BCLP team advised the banking pool included Partner David Blondel, and Senior Associate Charles Sechao, on financing aspects, and Partner Jean-Pierre Delvigne, Senior Associate Maryne Gouhier an Legal clerk Thomas Philippe, on energy and project matters.
