BCLP advises global insurance intermediary, ANV, on its acquisition of Iris Insurance Brokers

BCLP has advised ANV Intermediaries Limited, a subsidiary of global insurance intermediary platform, ANV Group Holdings Ltd., on its acquisition of Iris Insurance Brokers Limited, a London-headquartered speciality insurance distribution platform.

Iris was founded in 2000 and operates through three primary divisions in the UK: 1) its Lloyd’s brokerage business; 2) Blink Intermediary Solutions; and 3) Vivid Underwriters (a managing general agent). Iris also has operations in France through its Paris-headquartered subsidiary. The acquisition of Iris will strengthen ANV’s distribution across the UK retail insurance market and broaden its access to speciality insurance capacity. Iris’ Vivid Underwriters business will complement the ANV LaunchPad, ANV’s American managing general agent incubator launched in May of this year.
