BCLP Advises SEGRO on £800m Joint Venture with Pure Data Centres Group

BCLP advised SEGRO on the establishment of a 50:50 joint venture with Pure Data Centres Group Limited, for the £800m development of a fully fitted 48MW data center in the Paris region.

This transaction marks a further collaboration between Pure and SEGRO following the SEGRO Pure Premier Park Data Centre at Park Royal and comes at a time of rapidly growing demand for digital infrastructure across Europe.

The project involves the development of a next-generation fully fitted data center designed to meet the requirements of hyperscale customers.

This joint venture will combine SEGRO’s expertise in planning and development with Pure DC’s experience in the delivery and operation of hyperscale data centers.

The BCLP team was led by Partner Olivier Mesmin, and Counsel Yecine Nour, who advised on the structuring of the transaction and the related tax aspects.
