BCLP Boosts Antitrust & Competition Team with Hire of Partner Victoria Newbold

Victoria has extensive experience in antitrust/competition law having worked both in private practice and in industry, internationally and within the UK. She advises on merger control, complex behavioural investigations and antitrust counselling globally.
During her career, Victoria has advised on a number of major enforcement and antitrust investigations, covering cartel conduct and abuse of dominance. She has particular expertise in the technology, financial services and retail sectors.
Victoria qualified in the Antitrust & Competition team at Berwin Leighton Paisner (now BCLP). During her time with the firm, she was seconded to a major client to advise on competition issues. Victoria also spent time as a senior associate in the Competition, Regulation and Trade group at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP before taking her senior industry role at Bloomberg LP.
