BCLP Announces New Management Team in Paris and Reaffirms Growth Ambitions

BCLP today announced a leadership change for its Paris office and the appointment of acting co-managing partners. 

International law firm BCLP has announced that Partners Constantin Achillas and Olivier Mesmin have been named acting co-managing partners of the Paris office. 

Achillas, who specialises in complex litigation and arbitration, has been a partner at BCLP since 2013. Mesmin, a tax partner, joined the Paris office a year ago along with a team of almost 30 lawyers who have strengthened the corporate/M&A and employment law teams and bolstered real estate, financing, competition law, public law, environmental and tax law practices. In their role, Achillas and Mesmin will oversee the office’s development and the implementation of the firm’s global strategy to focus its efforts on Corporate & Finance Transactions, Litigation & Investigations, and Real Estate as an asset class.

Over the past year, the Paris office has been transformed with significant hires across multiple practices, including the recent addition of well-known real estate lawyer Pierre Popesco and his team. After tripling in size to 60 lawyers, BCLP anticipates further growth in Paris, expanding its scope in pursuit of the firm’s strategic priorities and building additional scale around the strength of its core practices.
