Justin Winerman discusses bankruptcy in 2026 with Law360

Justin Winerman, a partner in BCLP's Finance Transactions practice, recently spoke with Law360 for their midyear bankruptcy report.

In the article, Justin shares insights on notable bankruptcy developments during the first half of 2026, including the emphasis on getting pre-negotiated deals to cut down on the costs of chapter 11 and the increased use of chapter 15 to implement cross-border restructurings. He noted that Chapter 15 is "especially flexible."
