Biography

Anne Sharamitaro is a member of the firm's Health Care Team. Her practice focuses on providing legal advice to clients in healthcare regulatory and transactional matters. She is a graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law, where she obtained a Certificate in Health Law and served as an editor for the Journal of Health Law, currently published by the American Health Lawyers Association. Ms. Sharamitaro has over ten years of healthcare regulatory experience regarding merger and acquisition activities involving such entities as hospitals and health systems, physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, free standing imaging centers, long term care facilities, and managed care plans. She has additional experience regarding regulatory matters related to transactional and compensation arrangements involving physician employment, joint venture, co-management, medical directorship and other hospital-physician affiliation relationships.

Ms. Sharamitaro has published articles in peer reviewed and trade journals, as well as co-authored chapters in several healthcare finance related texts. She has additionally taught continuing education courses and has spoken before healthcare industry groups regarding regulatory matters related to such topics as: accountable care organizations, physician compensation arrangements, the Affordable Care Act implementation, and other healthcare valuation topics.
