Biography

Brooke V. Ingoglia is an accomplished litigator based in BCLP’s Chicago and Dallas offices. With extensive experience in a variety of litigation matters as well as strategic counseling for employers on preventative measures and risk mitigation strategies, Brooke combines her litigation skills with her expertise in providing advice and counsel to offer comprehensive representation to clients.

Brooke focuses her practice on general and complex commercial litigation across a variety of industries, with considerable dedication to ESOP and stock valuation disputes. Additionally, Brooke is experienced in matters related to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). She adeptly handles FCRA litigation, including cases involving consumer reporting, background checks, and compliance with FCRA regulations. Brooke’s strategic approach and in-depth understanding of ERISA and FCRA requirements enable her to effectively defend clients' interests in federal courts, consistently achieving favorable outcomes.

In addition to her work in commercial litigation and FCRA-based claims, Brooke advises employers on a wide range of employment law matters, including non-compete agreements, trade secrets-related matters, and workplace investigations. She has significant experience investigating workplace discrimination and misconduct, particularly in cases involving disability discrimination and accommodation requests. Brooke’s experience conducting internal investigations complements her litigation practice, providing clients with comprehensive guidance on navigating sensitive employment issues.

Brooke obtained her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, where she was the administrative editor for The Journal of Corporation Law. She was also the president of the Equal Justice Foundation. Prior to law school, Brooke earned a business degree at Baylor University.
