Biography
Fiona is a partner in the Finance Transactions group and has extensive experience advising both lenders and borrowers in a broad range of transactions, including margin lending and fund finance, leveraged and acquisition finance, receivables and asset-based lending, private placements, commodities and infrastructure finance, equity margin loans, and venture debt. Fiona principally acts on cross-border transactions for an aray of clients including funds, family offices, corporates and financial institutions.

Fiona's experience* includes advising on:
- Advising a private investment firm on its entry into a USD1bn facilities agreement comprising NAV and margin loan facilities secured by pools of hedge fund positions, private equity interests and treasury assets.
- Advising a large financial institution on the development and roll out of an innovative fund finance facility.
- Advising the borrower on entry into a EUR350m tax structured margin loan.
- Advising an international “buy now pay later” company on its £80m structured receivables facility.
- Advising a listed investment fund on the entry into a £375m revolving credit facility secured on a NAV basis for the purposes of funding strategic acquisitions and capital expenditure.
- Advising a main market listed corporate borrower on the entry into a USD200m term loan and revolving credit facility.
- Market-leading work in the life sciences sector advising on the debt aspects of three simultaneous transformational transactions for a therapeutics company.
