Biography

Fraser Wayne is a member of the firm's Energy, Environment and Infrastructure and Technology Practice Groups. His practice focuses on acquisitions, divestitures, strategic joint ventures and project development involving renewable and non-renewable energy assets. He is a frequent author and presenter on energy trends, developments and concepts. 

Fraser regularly works with private equity sponsors, infrastructure investors, and utilities in transactional matters across the energy transition space, including advising on build-transfer transactions for utility scale solar, wind and battery storage projects, behind-the-meter solar projects, industrial cogeneration projects, renewable natural gas projects, energy and/or capacity purchase agreements, REC agreements, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) agreements, module and turbine supply agreements, asset management agreements, scheduling coordinator agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, and shared facilities agreements. 

Fraser also maintains an active oil and gas practice, with focus on transactional work in the upstream and midstream oil and gas space. 

Fraser has experience across North America and is qualified to practice law in Alberta (Canada), Colorado, and Texas.
