Biography
Gianna Mercandetti-Worthington is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Department. She focuses her practice on commercial real estate financing matters, representing clients in connection with acquisition, refinance, and construction loans secured by a variety of asset classes throughout the United States, including commercial, multifamily, industrial, and mixed use projects.
Gianna received her J.D. from the Emory University School of Law. During her time in law school, she was part of Emory Law’s TI:GER program, focusing on market and intellectual property research with technology innovation partners, and she worked as a research assistant in intellectual property. Gianna also participated in moot court: she won the Stange Award, a distinction of Emory Moot Court Society’s 1L Stange Competition, and she later competed on Emory’s Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition Team, placing at both the regional and national competitions.
Gianna holds her B.F.A. and M.F.A. from Florida State University, joining the field of law following a professional career in the arts.
