Biography
Jérémie Bismuth is a Partner in BCLP's Finance Transactions Practice Group in London.
Jérémie advises financial institutions, investors, arrangers, originators and borrowers on a broad range of domestic and cross-border structured finance and securitisation transactions. His practice spans asset-backed financing, receivables securitisations and other complex funding structures across Europe and Africa.
He has significant experience advising on structured finance transactions throughout North and West Africa, including Morocco, Tunisia, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Mali, Benin, Chad, Togo and Burkina Faso. Acting for arrangers, anchor investors, lenders, borrowers and sellers, he supports clients in the structuring, negotiation and execution of innovative financing transactions.
Jérémie’s experience includes advising on landmark securitisation transactions in Africa, including the first mortgage receivables securitisation in the WAEMU region and the securitisation of receivables held by the PEPT Fund in Côte d'Ivoire, where he acted for key transaction stakeholders.
