Dr. Jonas Asgodom is Counsel in our Corporate Department and a member of the international Healthcare and Life Sciences practice group.

In Germany, he is one of our key contacts for issues relating to the healthcare sector, on whose regulatory issues he advises companies in the transactional context and outside of it. Without a sector connection, his focus is on subsidy and public procurement law. He conducts procurement procedures for contracting authorities, supports bidders in procurement procedures in the preparation of tender documents and assists in review proceedings before the public procurement review bodies.

Before joining BCLP, Dr. Asgodom worked for various national and international law firms in Kiel, Berlin and Frankfurt am Main in the areas of construction, public procurement, and environmental law. He has also been a lecturer at the Universities of Kiel and Hamburg and is currently a lecturer in environmental law at the University of Koblenz. Dr. Asgodom regularly contributes to publications in the field of administrative law.

Dr. Asgodom holds an J.S.D./S.J.D. (Dr. iur.) from the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel for a dissertation on European administrative law and an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley.
