Biography

Marcia Levitan-Haffar is an associate in the firm’s Business and Commercial Disputes practice group. She has handled disputes involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, putative class actions, appeals, personal injury, housing, intellectual property, wills and trusts, statutory interpretation, and civil rights. Her clients include manufacturing companies, retail companies, foreign entities, banks, franchisors, and indigent individuals needing pro bono assistance. Marcia loves the fact that every case presents unique facts and legal issues, and she revels in learning the ins and outs of her clients' cases to best represent them.

Prior to joining BCLP in 2023, Marcia clerked for the Honorable R. Brooke Jackson of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and externed for both the Honorable Judge Michael E. Hegarty of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the Honorable Gilbert M. Román of the Colorado Court of Appeals. During law school, she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as a Casenote and Comment Editor for the Colorado Law Review, where she also published her student note. As a student attorney, she assisted with an appeal to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and separately represented a client who appealed criminal charges that impacted her First Amendment rights, which resulted in the voluntary dismissal of the charges.
