Biography
Meredith Silliman has a broad-based employee benefits and executive compensation practice, advising public and private companies, non-profit organizations, churches, and governmental entities on all aspects of retirement, health and welfare, and compensation issues.
Meredith often assists clients with designing, implementing, maintain, and terminating employee benefit plans, including plans that are subject to ERISA; designing, maintaining, and negotiating executive compensation programs and agreements (including, for example, equity-based compensation programs, deferred compensation arrangements, and employment agreements); and negotiating contracts with third-party service providers.
Meredith also regularly performs due diligence related to the employee benefits and executive compensation aspects of mergers and acquisitions and negotiates the related terms of such transactions and assisting with pre- and post-closing integration matters.
Additionally, Meredith advises clients with respect to ongoing administrative issues under the purview of the IRS, PBGC, and DOL.
