Michaela is a German qualified lawyer in the Real Estate team. She advises banks, asset managers, special servicers and funds on all real property related aspects of law, including but not limited to
- real estate investment transactions by way of share deal or asset deal (e.g. conduct of due diligence and preparation of due diligence reports),
- property developments,
- drafting and negotiating lease agreements both for landlords and tenants and
- in rem real property related rights.
Furthermore, she supports clients with respect to the development of strategies for avoiding legal disputes. An additional focus of her work concerns public law aspects of real estate.
Michaela studied law at the Goethe University in Frankfurt and the University of Cape Town in the course of a Masters of Law (LL.M.) degree. Before joining the firm, she worked in the real estate department of an international law firm in Frankfurt and London during her legal traineeship.
