Biography
Tim Hanson is a member of the firm’s Transactions Client Service Group and Private Equity Team. Mr. Hanson concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions, including private equity and strategic transactions, commercial transactions, corporate law matters and executive and equity compensation issues. Mr. Hanson has experience advising private equity funds and public and private corporations regarding their M&A and commercial transactions, as well as advising on day-to-day corporate and compensation issues. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hanson practiced at a large New York-based international law firm and in the transactional department of a Colorado-based Fortune 200 company.

- Advised numerous private equity and hedge fund clients on regulatory issues arising in connection with fund formation, deal structuring and asset management.
- Advised compensation committees of financial and strategic clients regarding compensation program development, executive employment agreements, performance metrics and performance analysis and assessment, and public disclosure and corporate governance issues arising from the same.
