Biography
Zachary is an associate on BCLP’s Technology, Commercial and Data team. His practice focuses on technology, data, and intellectual property transactions, including data licensing and SaaS agreements, collaboration, strategic alliance and joint development agreements, open source issues, domestic and international outsourcing service agreements, manufacturing, distribution, warehousing and supply agreements and other intellectual property issues in venture capital financings, mergers, acquisitions and private equity transactions. Zachary has advised clients across several industries, including retail and e-commerce, consumer products, fashion, biotechnology, financial services, and entertainment, media and publishing. Zachary also counsels on the use of artificial intelligence (including generative AI and LLMs) and regularly advises technology clients on how to implement internal controls and update commercial contracting processes.
Zachary maintains an active pro bono practice with Start Small Think Big, a non-profit organization in New York that connects small businesses with legal resources, and regularly volunteers with LGBTQ+ organizations to assist with name change matters.
Zachary earned his J.D. from Cornell University. During law school, Zachary was the Executive Editor of the Cornell International Law Journal and had his work published in the Cornell Law Review.
