Adam Harper discusses tariff refund with Bloomberg Law

Adam Harper, Counsel in BCLP’s Antitrust, Competition and Trade practice, recently spoke with Bloomberg Law about Customs beginning to accept tariff refund requests.  

In the article, Adam discusses Customs’ Consolidated Administration and Processing of Entries (CAPE) system and how he’s advising clients to drop protests once CAPE is operational if the protest was “exclusively to request a refund of IEEPA tariffs” and the entry would otherwise be eligible for Phase One.
