Biography
Adam advises clients on all aspects of international trade control laws, including economic sanctions, export controls, national security reviews of foreign investments, and customs. As part of his practice, Adam represents clients before various governmental bodies, including the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, the Department of Commerce, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, and Customs and Border Protection. Adam also helps clients navigate the complexities of mergers and acquisitions, the development, implementation, and maintenance of international trade compliance programs, the enforcement of international trade control laws, and multi-jurisdictional assessments. In addition, Adam works with clients on public policy advocacy before the Executive Branch and Congress.
Prior to joining BCLP, Adam worked at a prominent Washington, D.C. law firm where he handled many of the same issues. During law school, Adam performed internships with the Department of Justice, the Department of Commerce, and the United States Trade Representative. Adam is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserves and obtained the rank of Sergeant.
