BCLP advises Girasole Energies on the acquisition of photovoltaic projects
May 13, 2026BCLP advised Girasole Energies on the acquisition of a portfolio of six photovoltaic projects comprising truck parking solar canopies, located across several sites of a leading industrial construction materials group.
Girasole Energies, an independent French photovoltaic power producer, is acquiring a total installed capacity of approximately 30 MWp through this portfolio, including two projects nearing completion (around 10 MWp), expected to be commissioned mid-year, and four projects under development (nearly 20 MWp).
This bolt-on acquisition strengthens Girasole Energies’ portfolio with high-potential assets in the truck parking solar canopy segment, which is particularly well suited to enhancing the value of industrial land.
The transaction also supports Girasole Energies’ target of completing more than 60 MWp of acquisitions by the end of 2026, alongside its organic growth strategy, driven in part by the rollout of its first self-consumption and energy storage solutions. It further reflects a well-established photovoltaic strategy aimed at reaching 500 MWp of installed capacity by 2028.
The BCLP team advising Girasole Energies included Partner Jean-Pierre Delvigne, Counsel Paul Ast, Senior Associate Maryne Gouhier and Associate Thomas Philippe on energy and projects matters.
