BCLP Partner Roman Khodykin and Associate Siobhan Abraham authored a chapter in International Arbitration in England: Perspectives in Times of Change titled 'But at the Length Truth Will Out': Witness Evidence in International Arbitration: Developments and Future Trends.

International Arbitration in England: Perspectives in Times of Change charts a detailed consideration of the challenges and opportunities for the future of international arbitration in England. Roman and Siobhan’s chapter addresses recent scrutiny of the probative value of the evidence of fact witnesses over the last ten years and the reliability or usefulness of such evidence to an arbitral tribunal.

Roman is an arbitration specialist with extensive experience in national and cross-border matters, with particular emphasis on shareholder and energy disputes. He is highly recommended as a leading international arbitration lawyer by Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 guides. A visiting professor in the Centre for Commercial Law at Queen Mary University of London, Roman regularly writes on the subject of arbitration.

Siobhan’s practice focuses on international arbitration and she has acted on multiple complex cross-border disputes under a range of institutional rules, with a particular focus on the LCIA and ICC. She has advised clients in various sectors, including property and construction, pharmaceuticals, space technology, M&A, private equity and financial services. She also has experience of commercial litigation in the High Court in London.
