Biography
Daria is an associate in the firm’s Corporate and Finance Transactions group. She has extensive experience in cross-border finance, acting for both lenders and borrowers. Daria’s experience includes wide range of finance transactions, including syndicated loans, bilateral loans, real estate finance and trade finance.
Prior to joining the firm, Daria worked for European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London as an in-house counsel, supporting the bank’s finance deals in Central Asia and Eastern Europe. Before that, Daria was a banking and finance associate with the Moscow office of a major international law firm, representing European and US clients and the largest domestic financial institutions.
Daria is a dual qualified solicitor in England and Wales and a Russian lawyer. She was recognized in the Best Lawyers ranking for Russia in banking and finance law (2022).

- Acted for TFG London, the owner of fashion brands Phase Eight, Whistles and Hobbs, in connection with an amendment to the £90m revolving facility with a syndicate of four banks, to reflect the borrower’s post-COVID growth and acquisition plans.
- Advising Aferian plc, B2B video streaming solutions company, on extending and amending their revolving facility agreement with a syndicate of three banks.
- Advised WildBrain, a Canadian media, animation studio, production, and brand licensing company, on a new US$ 415m senior secured credit facility with a group of private lenders.
- Assisting the UK branch of the leading Canadian bank on a number of multicurrency credit facilities provided to investment funds.
- Advising a leading Japanese financial group on trade finance facilities to a group of trading companies.
- Acted for a UK car dealership business on a working capital revolving facility with a syndicate of UK banks.
- Acted for a major German bank in a syndicated loan, secured by 16 real estate properties in Moscow.
- Represented lenders on a multi-million prepayment finance facility to a European oil trader.
- As a counsel for a development bank, negotiated a project finance loan for the construction of a wind power plant in Uzbekistan, which included lenders’ backed letter of credit and a sovereign guarantee.
- Acted for a development bank in guaranteed loans to a retailer chain expanding its operations to the Western Balkans by building energy efficient stores.
