Biography
Tyler Mark advises clients with respect to a variety of federal securities law matters, including periodic reporting and capital markets transactions, and a wide range of corporate governance matters for both publicly traded and private companies. He has represented clients ranging from small start-ups to Fortune 100 companies on an array of general corporate advisory matters as well as a variety of strategic transactions, including public and private mergers, acquisitions, sales, and restructurings.
Mr. Mark has developed specialized and diverse experience managing shareholder activism matters. He regularly counsels companies and their officers and directors on SEC reporting, proxy disclosures, stock exchange requirements, the regulation of financial market utilities, conflict minerals reporting, and Section 16 issues. Mr. Mark helps clients across a spectrum of industries analyze their business challenges from multiple angles and develop the right strategy in both the short term and long term.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mark was a corporate associate at an international law firm in Chicago. He received his J.D. in 2010 from Georgetown University, where he was the executive editor of The Georgetown Law Journal, and his B.A. in history and international studies in 2005 from Northwestern University, graduating cum laude from both.
