Biography

Abbey Raish helps public and private companies, private equity firms and investment banks navigate complex capital markets and corporate transactions.  Abbey’s experience includes advising on initial public offerings, debt and equity offerings, leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, SPAC transactions, tender offers, spin-offs and cross-border deals. She also counsels clients on SEC disclosure obligations, securities law issues, corporate governance, listing exchange requirements and general corporate law matters. Clients value her commercial vision and thoughtful, pragmatic approach to solving business challenges.

In addition, Abbey advises at the forefront of the evolving sustainability sector, counseling clients on voluntary disclosures, regulatory requirements, climate commitments, sustainable finance and U.S. legislative and policy developments.  She is particularly adept at navigating the shifting tides of international regulation—from emerging global disclosure mandates to the nuances of the TCFD and ISSB frameworks. Abbey is known as a trusted adviser to corporate boards and executive teams, building practical, forward-looking sustainability and climate strategies.

Throughout her legal career, Abbey has represented public and private companies of all sizes, including Fortune 500 companies and non-U.S. issuers, as well as some of the world’s most sophisticated private equity firms, investment banks and financial institutions in both corporate transactional and sustainability matters.  Her experience spans diverse industries, including consumer products, food and beverage, life sciences, insurance, healthcare, retail, hospitality, real estate, energy, telecommunications and fintech.
