Biography

Reiley Pankratz is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group. She advises on employer-side employment and labor law issues, including compliance counseling, employer handbooks and policies, reduction in force strategies, restrictive covenants, and human resources training. Her practice primarily focuses on advising on employment and labor issues in the context of merger and acquisition deals and corporate transactions. She also has experience representing clients in various disputes, including wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims before state and federal agencies and courts.

Prior to joining BCLP, Reiley was an associate at a national law firm and focused her practice on employment advising. She has committed a large portion of her practice to pro bono work for incarcerated individuals, including securing favorable results for clients who were denied accommodations for disabilities while incarcerated.

During law school, Reiley served as the symposium editor for the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy and worked as a legal intern for the Kansas Office of the Governor and the Kansas State Senate. She also interned for the University of Kansas Athletics General Counsel’s Office. Reiley was awarded a Pro Bono Certificate, reserved for students that completed significant pro bono work during their law school career.
